HIS SHADOW
In the stillness of the night, our shadows reflect facets of our being, a candid display of our actions. Yet, within the realm of faith, God's shadow transcends earthly nuances.
Psalm 91:1 describes dwelling in the shadow of the Almighty as more than a mere reflection—it embodies a profound connection with our Creator. God's shadow is an eternal refuge, a sanctuary beyond mirroring deeds, offering grace and shielding from life's uncertainties.
In the tapestry of faith, His shadow paints a portrait of divine love and protection. It's not just a reflection but a source of strength, comfort, and unwavering support, guiding us on the path of righteousness.
While earthly shadows whimsically mimic our movements, God's shadow stands as a constant, benevolent presence—an assurance beyond the transient echoes of our actions, providing a sanctuary of grace and unending love. However, dwelling under His Shadow requires dwelling in the secret place of the Most High—an ongoing awareness of His presence.
His secret place, also known as the tent of meeting or tabernacle, signifies an intimate, disturbance-free proximity with Him. It extends beyond a one-day affair, becoming a lifelong connection—a permanent retreat offering security against all odds.
As the year winds down, we have the full assurance of safety and security under the shadow of His wing, grounded in the lifelong connection with the Most High in His secret place.
